I met Alex when I was filming a web series for my university about the history of electronic music in Mexico. It was here that I met a programmer who had been pioneering arts and technology in the country since the 1970s.In his life stories where a lot of explanations of the art that I like the most, a lot of stories I’ve never heard and incredible art pieces I’ve never seen.

I decided to make my Bachelor thesis about him, the continuation of an investigation that until today hasn't stopped and was the start of an enduring friendship with Alex and my crew whoprovide me with the inspirational tools to keep expressing myself with the help of the various technological innovations that we can enjoy today.

I’m currently building Alex's Wikipedia with the help of professionals, as well asdoing events to showcase and encourage local storytellers to talk about the Alex's of their cities. I project this film together with other historical electronic music documentaries, these events have taken place in Berlin, Barcelona, Mexico City and, if the pandemic allows next year in october, in Amsterdam.
