             Perfectly Imperfect - Krzys Sundey 

      

         

I wonder if there is something wrong? Why do I feel so confident about a set all of the sudden?

I get to the location, the sunflowers look beautiful with the rush of the sunlight, I start thinking what we should try, Krzy, the singer gets to the location, she looks stunning, is early in the morning, we rehearse the complete song all setted up, she doesn’t feel so comfortable with the camera and the set watching her, so then I show her some moves, get her in some kind of zone, my head makes a click, it felt that all those years dancing in my room in front of the mirror was a preparation for this moment, I was rehearsing to do this with her. Krzy starts moving, she sings the song, she feels it, puts her body into the performance, puts her soul into the movement, she is living the song she wrote and I feel extremely lucky of being part of this proces for her artistic career, for one of her creations and allow me to build a visual narrative of her music.
